About GABA tea in general:

GABA tea was discovered in 1987 by a group led by Dr. Tsushida of the Japan Food and Tea Research Institute. The group of scientists researched new methods for preserving vegetables and, in this context, examined how to increase the storage time of freshly picked tea leaves before fermentation and processing. Various oxygen-poor storage methods were invented, then the free amino acid content of green tea was examined and it was found that the GABA content of tea increased 8.9-fold.

dr. So Tsuchida Tojiro discovered that if tea leaves are continuously exposed to nitrogen gas for 6-10 hours, the GABA content in them will increase.

What is GABA?
GABA (Gamma amino acid) is an amino acid or a neurotransmitter. GABA is the stimulus mediator of the primary defense systems of the brain and is responsible for regulating glutamate levels in the body.

This GABA Oolong tea is a rarity. It is characterized by pleasant chocolate, caramel, sweet taste and high GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) content.

This tea will have a golden orange color after soaking, paired with a pleasant chocolate, caramel flavor.

Use and preparation of Chinese Premium GABA Oolong tea

Pour a teaspoon of Chinese Premium GABA Oolong tea with 1.5-2 dl of water (80-90C) and let it soak for up to 5 minutes. The tea can be poured 2-3x, it is worth raising the water temperature and the duration of the pouring per pouring.
