About Chinese Dragon Well Green Tea in General:
 

Dragon Well (Longjing) tea is a deservedly famous green tea variety from the Zhejiang region of China. It is mostly made by hand and is known for its exceptional quality.

Like Chinese green teas, the leaves of Dragon Well (Longjing) are dried in pans to stop fermentation. Along with other Chinese green teas, Dragon Well is also unfermented. It has the highest concentration of catechins among teas.
 

The place of origin of Chinese Dragon Well green tea
 

This Dragon Well tea comes to us from tea plantations in the Zhejiang (Hungarian: Zhejiang) region. This area is outside the territory of the most ancient Chinese civilization. A state was organized here independently, which intervened in the quarrels of the Chinese states north of it. Finally, the i.e. In the 3rd century, it became part of the unified Chinese Empire.

Zhejiang is the driving force of the economy, with a rich culture and beautiful nature. Along with Fujian and Anhui, the region is one of the largest tea producers in the world, with a special focus on green teas.

A light yellow or greenish extract can be made after soaking. The taste is fresh, slightly sweet and hazelnut, and a little smoky.
 

Use and preparation of Chinese Dragon Well green tea
 

Pour a teaspoon of Chinese Dragon Well green tea with 1.5-2 dl of water (70-80C) and let it soak for a maximum of 1-2 minutes. The tea can also be poured 3x, it is worth raising the water temperature and the duration of the pouring per pouring.
