Barao Native Chimarrao Yerba Mate tea is an authentic Chimarrao - i.e. finely ground Brazilian yerba mate - with an intense herbal aroma. Due to its finely ground nature, we recommend using a bombilla and a cloth bag for drinking. Due to its special preparation method, we recommend it for advanced mate drinkers. It has a stronger invigorating effect and is less taxing on the body than coffee. An excellent choice for advanced mate drinkers who would like to experiment with new flavors. Preparation as tea
The simplest way to prepare it is as a plain tea. The most important thing is that the water used for mate tea should not be hotter than 80 °C. Yerba mate should not be brewed with boiling water, as it loses its positive properties and its taste quality deteriorates.
