Description

The Dimlux Expert CMH Full Spectrum 315 W is a complete 315 W Full Spectrum luminaire - including the Ultra Optics reflector. This reflector is made on the Single Bounce Clear Sight (SBCS) principle and is equipped with Miro Silver mirrors. As a result, it achieves the highest possible efficiency (98%) of all horticultural reflectors on the market. Dimlux ceramic discharge metal halide systems (also known as CDM or CMH) emit a spectrum that is significantly more similar to natural sunlight than traditional high-intensity discharge (HID) systems. These modern, complete luminaires generate a higher amount of useful plant light (photosynthetically active radiation) and operate at a dazzling intensity that is immediately visible to the naked eye. It is fully controllable (up to 160 lamps can be easily controlled with the optional maxi controller). It comes standard with a 2-meter Interlink cable. User's guide can be found here.

It has adjustable side reflectors for better coverage and minimizing wall losses. The open reflector design means the lamp is passively cooled, which is beneficial for the lamp's lifespan and efficiency. The reflector has a 50 mm socket, which can significantly reduce the room temperature by actively extracting air. Additional reflectors are optionally available, the placement of which can further minimize wall losses.

These luminaires, like most high-pressure sodium and metal halide lamps, are extremely hot during use and after they are turned off. Do not touch the lamp with anything – especially body parts such as hands and fingers, or plant parts, as this could cause a fire or burns. Also, be careful not to spray anything on the lampshade, reflector or lamp, as this could cause permanent damage, including failure of the luminaire.
