Kraus Organica Gourmet Yerba Mate tea (smokeless) is a certified, pure mate tea that is a fully organic product. The mate plant used comes from organic plantations, grows naturally - without fertilizers or chemicals. The leaves are collected exclusively by hand and dried without smoking. Thanks to this, the tea made from it has no smoky aroma and a much milder taste. It contains a small amount of finely chopped stems and natural powder. It has a stronger invigorating effect and is less taxing on the body than coffee. Recommended for both beginner and advanced mate consumers. Store in a dry, cool place, in a closed container.

Preparation
The simplest way to prepare it is as if it were a regular tea. The most important thing is that the water used for mate tea should not be hotter than 70 °C. Yerba mate should not be brewed with boiling water, as it will lose its positive properties and its taste will deteriorate.

About the manufacturer
The history of Kraus dates back to 1894, when Francisco Kraus, a young Austrian, emigrated to Argentina and settled in Misiones, starting to grow and trade yerba mate. Since then, the fourth generation has been running the business. The cultivation method has always been respectful of the environment, without the use of agrochemicals. The yerba is dried without smoke, but with hot air produced in a gas boiler. This gives the finished yerba a mild taste and a delicate aroma, without any smoke.
