Rei Verde Traditional green Yerba Mate tea is significantly different in color, texture, and flavor from Argentine, Paraguayan, or Uruguayan yerba, and looks more like matcha tea – a powder made from finely chopped leaves with few stems. It is usually vacuum-packed within the first week of harvest, thus maintaining higher chlorophyll levels, which gives it its bright neon green color. It contains finely ground leaves mixed with coarsely chopped stems for easy straining. It requires a flat, round bombilla with a filter to consume. Its flavor is quite fresh, grassy, and mild, making it a good choice for novice mate drinkers. A good choice for a relaxing afternoon or a more relaxed day. The stems and leaves of yerba mate are used in the production, which are high in vitamins and minerals. Store in a dry, cool place, in a closed container.

Preparation as tea
The simplest way to prepare it is as a plain tea. The most important thing is that the water used for mate tea should not be hotter than 75 °C. Yerba mate should not be brewed with boiling water, as it will lose its positive properties and its taste will deteriorate.
